About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and oversee all aspects of injection molding operations. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality production, process optimization, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the injection molding engineering team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Develop, implement, and optimize molding processes to achieve quality, efficiency, and cost objectives.
- Oversee mold design, tooling maintenance, and troubleshooting of molding equipment.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and improve cycle times.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage new product launches, including mold trials, validation, and process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, resource planning, and performance metrics.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors for tooling and equipment support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in injection molding, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of mold design, polymer materials, and processing techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD software and mold flow analysis tools.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

- RJG Master Molder Certification
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
