Nutrition Support Dietitian position in Johnson City, TN with Morrison Healthcare at Johnson City Medical Center. Full-time schedule with a 6th weekend rotation.

Location:

Morrison Healthcare at Johnson City Medical Center
Setting: 445-bed acute care Level I Trauma Center and children's hospital

Full time, Monday - Friday, with every 6th weekend rotation

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• TN Dietitian licensure (where required by state)

• Provides nutrition services in identified specialty area
• Assesses the nutritional status of patients through documentation in the medical record
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
• Fosters teamwork and implements innovative programs to achieve optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes
• Complies with regulatory standards (federal, state, accrediting agencies) while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Participates in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide QA/PI programs

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the CDR
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, where required
• Two (2) years of experience in the area of specialty preferred
• Specialty certification when applicable
