This role is based just a few miles outside of Johnson City, Tennessee and the client won't be able to provide visa sponsorship

Summary:

The HRBP acts as a key business partner to the Plant Manager and provides day‑to‑day HR operational support to all Americas Regional and Corporate teams, working closely with the Regional/BU HR Director. This role manages all aspects of HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and alignment with the company’s sustainability and people policies. The position focuses on driving a high‑performance culture built on employee engagement, safety, quality, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an HR Business Partner to plant and regional leadership, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local labor regulations.
  • Oversee full‑cycle HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
  • Support Americas and Corporate HR initiatives such as payroll processing, visa management, and HRIS system optimization.
  • Manage employee development programs, performance reviews, and succession planning activities.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant employee records, reporting, and documentation for audits and legal requirements.
  • Represent the company in employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and labor‑related legal proceedings.
  • Prepare workforce reports, maintain HR data systems, and support management decision‑making through analytics and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, compensation, benefits, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
