Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Buyer/Planner to join them. You will report to the Site Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Johnson City, Tennessee.

To be considered for Buyer/Planner, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
* Bachelor's degree with 5 years of procurement/supply chain experience or an associate’s degree with 9 years of procurement/supply chain experience or high school diploma/equivalent with 13 years of related experience.
* Proven experience in planning, procurement, or inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and market trends
* Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management As a Buyer/Planner, you will:
* Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms
* Analyze market trends to make data-driven purchasing decisions
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory meets operational needs
* Maintain strong supplier relationships and oversee contract management
* Ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in all purchasing activities
* Review MRP requirements and inventory on hand balances to ensure material availability. You will also use ERP computer system to manage inventory requirements.
* Review and understand blueprints, material specifications and engineering specifications
* Log & Manage Sales Purchase Orders and LRP inventories
* Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support business operations  How We Care for You:
