Machine Operator – Brass Handle Cell (3rd Shift)

Operate and maintain equipment in the Brass Handle Cell. Responsibilities include packing, auto packing, labeling, painting, and assembly of rotary instruments, ensuring quality and compliance with Device History Records.

• Operate auto pack, paint, and assembly machines; load materials; adjust controls.
• Inspect and review packs, instruments, and paperwork for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain and repair machines as needed.
• Label instruments, verify Device History Records, and ensure correct documentation.
• Perform quality reviews of painted items and assembled files.
• Operate brush, calibration lines, and label printers as outlined in work instructions.
• Confirm heat‑treatments and record heating data.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

High‑school diploma or GED preferred; technical degree or certification is a plus.

Minimum of 1 year machine‑operation experience or equivalent technical work/education.

• Manual dexterity for handling small, sharp pieces.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, and maintenance.
• Ability to adjust machine controls accurately.
• Understanding of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
• Attention to detail and self‑motivation.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Basic computer skills: data entry, manufacturing software, email.

Light to medium physical activity; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Work near moving machinery; moderate noise; use of hearing protection when needed.
