American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 1 year of experience and TN or compact RN licensure.

• Night shift, 4x12 hours (18:30-07:00)
• 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48 schedules available
• Floating required with rotating weekends and rotating holidays
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skills in respiratory care, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and neurological/psychiatric care preferred
• Experience with wound care, isolation precautions/PPE, and IV insulin protocols preferred
• Experience in orthopedics, genitourinary/renal, and plastics care preferred

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Participate in clinical nursing student support and education alongside clinical care duties
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online coursework (CBLs)
• Must reside 100+ miles from the facility's service area; local candidates not accepted
• EKG proficiency testing required within 72 hours of signing
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelines
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this role
