Overview

City Barbeque is recruiting kitchen staff to join our team dedicated to creating memorable backyard hospitality. The role involves preparing and cooking a variety of smoked meats, sides, and desserts in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Base pay range: $13.00/hr – $20.00/hr

• Prepare and smoke meats (pits, boards, line cook, meat cutter).
• Prepare sides and desserts from scratch.
• Assist with dishwasher and utility duties as needed.
• Arrive on time and accurately time‑report.
• Complete hot food prep assignments following recipes and sanitation guidelines.
• Prepare take‑out and catering orders promptly.
• Follow station and cleaning checklists consistently.
• Maintain a positive attitude with teammates and guests.

• Experience in a fast‑moving kitchen environment.
• Ability to cross‑train and work multiple stations.
• Strong attention to food preparation standards and sanitation.
• Proactive team player who pitches in to help others.
• Consistent follow‑through on proper recipes, procedures, and safety protocols.

• Bi‑weekly pay or daily pay options.
• Up to $2,400/year in free BBQ & 25% discount when off the clock.
