The Auto Body Technician’s primary responsibility is to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of each vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition.

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work, prepare cost estimates, and use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicle sections.
• Remove dents, dimples, and other minor body damage; mix and apply filler resins when necessary.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts; repair or replace glass and windshields as needed.
• Repair or replace interior parts as required.
• Weld and attach parts, then repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or an agreed-upon equivalent.
• Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

• Read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate effectively with other repairers in a shop setting.
• Understand methods and procedures for vehicle body repair.
• Proficient in operating required tools.

• Work safely in a noisy area with many odors.
• Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
• Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

$75,000+ annually depending on flagged hours per week.
