About Us
The Alternative Community Corrections Program (ACCP) is a Tennessee Department of Correction treatment provider for non‑violent felony offenders administered through the First Tennessee Human Resource Agency (FTHRA). The program offers comprehensive, intensive outpatient treatment and court‑ordered supervision for clients with addiction issues within the First Judicial District of Northeast Tennessee.
What You Will Be Doing- Act as a liaison between the ACCP and the Criminal Courts in the First Judicial District.
- Conduct pre‑sentence investigations and prepare post‑sentence reports for the court.
- Supervise an assigned caseload (initially 20 to 30 offenders, not to exceed 50), meeting with clients in the office to provide appropriate services and recommend community service placement, skills training and reentry opportunities.
- Prepare monthly statistical reports, quarterly checks, file checks, exit summaries and violation reports.
- Maintain case files and records, interview offenders regularly to evaluate progress and ensure compliance with program terms.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline.
- Two years’ work experience in the criminal justice system, human services or a related field preferred; recent graduates will be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel) and Google platforms (Docs, Sheets).
- Team player, invested in client success, compassionate, collaborative and self‑directed.
- Full‑time Monday through Friday – No weekends.
- Flexible schedule (usually 8am to 5pm with 1hr unpaid for lunch).
