As a Treasury Accountant for JD Financial t he preferred location for this role is onsite in Johnston, IA . Candidates based in Moline, IL may also be considered at the hiring manager's discretion
Perform treasury accounting activities for the U.S. and Canada, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and preparation of disclosures for regulatory and SEC filings.
Monitor and analyze daily cash activity and funding transactions.
Develop interest expense forecasts for the U.S. and Canada.
Serve as subject matter expert and partner with Corporate Treasury and other stakeholders on funding initiatives and special projects.
Identify and implement process improvements, including automation.

What Skills You Need- 3 or more years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP (US Generally Accepted Accounting Prinicples)
- Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines
- Demonstrated track record of process improvement and automation in accounting workflows
- Financial Services / Treasury experience
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
