CNA Inpatient Pediatric Rehab; Part Time

This position will support our Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, the only freestanding, comprehensive pediatric inpatient rehabilitation program in the state of Iowa.

• 2 shifts per week, 6:00am-6:00pm, with a weekend rotation
• Opportunity to pick up additional shifts to get to full time if interested

• Assist with daily care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while honoring each child’s privacy and dignity.
• Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each child’s unique needs are met.
• Help children look and feel their best by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for scheduled activities.
• Support families by sharing updates and reinforcing care techniques that promote each child’s progress and well-being.
• Accurately document care provided and maintain compliance with Child Serve policies and professional standards.

• Active DIA certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa.
• Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
