Job Title: Customer Support Representative II

Location: 6400 NW 86th Street, Johnston, IA 50131, USA

Duration: 9 months contract on W2 (possible extension)

Full Onsite

These positions will be on the Customer Support Team in a Technical Support Center.

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Currently a contingent position; no expectation to transition into full‑time employment.

Managers will offer a retention bonus of $1,000 at 3 months and another $1,000 upon successful completion of the assignment.

• Skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 6+ months experience with customer service/support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• High comfort level and experience with consumer software applications.
• Strong computer, research, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work support hours and occasional holidays.

• Knowledge of agricultural customers.
• Experience with agricultural operations, including Precision Farming.
• Prior work experience in Agricultural or Technology dealer channels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, IT, or a similar discipline.
• Technical certification indicating understanding of IT database management (preferred for high school graduates).

• Support hours: 7am – 6pm CST, Monday – Friday and 8am – 12pm CST, Saturday.
• Shift may include occasional holidays and overtime.
• Candidate must be available to work any 8‑hour shift within the 7am‑6pm support window.
• Shifts subject to change based on volumes.

• Training and mentoring on the 8‑4:30am shift, lasting ~6 weeks.
• 3‑4 months to reach full productivity.
• Limited travel to nearby Des Moines Works for a factory tour and to Jensen Farms twice a year.
