Rehab Tech II; Part-Time

We have an opening for a part‑time Rehab Tech II for our Johnston location. This individual will support our Outpatient Therapy team by organizing, cleaning, and disinfecting the gyms, classrooms, and other areas we use for therapy sessions. Techs may assist with treatment sessions, both in preparation for the session and during the session. This is a great position for a college student looking to gain experience in a pediatric outpatient therapy setting.

• Flexible scheduling between 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday–Friday.
• College students encouraged to apply, we will work around your class schedule.

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of experience working in a healthcare setting or with children is preferred. Experience in rehabilitation is a plus.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to work independently and be highly organized.
• Ability to use tact and courtesy when dealing with patients, their families and co‑workers.
• Competency with use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively for understanding, in writing and verbally.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
