Respiratory Therapy Technician ; PRN

Respiratory Therapy students! As a Respiratory Therapy Tech I, you will be responsible for supporting the respiratory therapy department with supply and equipment management to aid in daily operations.

Wage: $18/hour

• Varied shifts available that can work around class schedule
• Day and overnight opportunities available

• Maintains accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by standards of practice and Child Serve policies and procedures.
• Participate in the routine rotation of stocked items to ensure items are used prior to expiration date.
• Clean/disinfect, maintain and replace equipment per Child Serve infection control guidelines and best practices.
• Assist with onsite oxygen tank fulfillment/replacement program.
• Serve as liaison to Masimo tech support to troubleshoot respiratory/vitals monitoring equipment.

• Currently committed to enroll or is enrolled in a respiratory therapy program.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days and before working independently.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
• Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
