RSC2 is looking for a Journeymen Data Scientist to join our growing team in Arlington, VA. The Journeymen Data Scientist will work with the team to develop the methodologies and tools needed to enhance CID, IPR Center & CPMC’s goal of developing more leads of better quality. He or she will choose the best approach for the project; for example, developing algorithms and assessing/selecting methodologies such as linear regression, machine learning, forecasting, etc.

• Develop methodologies and tools to enhance lead quality for CID, IPR Center & CPMC.
• Design, develop, and deploy analytics and models to support knowledge discovery and link analysis for law enforcement purposes.
• Engage in data ingestion, ETL processes, and fusion to respond to evolving requirements.
• Choose appropriate approaches for projects, including linear regression, machine learning, forecasting, and related techniques.

• Active Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in a quantitative field (computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics).
• Three (3) or more years of experience in ETL processes on data from diverse sources.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytics for knowledge discovery and link analysis.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in data ingestion, data sciences, integration, and fusion in response to new and expanding requirements.
