Warehouse Supervisor, Night Shift

Johnson Brothers opened in Iowa in 1985 when the state privatized wine wholesale and retail sales. Starting with a staff of 15 working in the Des Moines Golden Circle, Johnson Brothers has grown steadily, acquiring 13 companies, expanding and relocating operations three times, and currently employing more than 200 team members.

• Schedule order selection.
• Hire and train selection personnel.
• Maintain quality standards for order selection.
• Maintain all safety activities for the night shift and conduct safety meetings.
• Ensure completion of picking in an efficient and safe manner.
• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.
• Train and enforce company policy and procedures.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• 3+ years of previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to work as a team member and leader.
• Strong computer skills. Experience with Inventory and Warehouse Management Systems, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Routing experience is a plus.
• Experience and knowledge with applicable federal regulations pertaining to the company's business operations including OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Strong organizational skills, versatility, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
