Laboratory Technician

Duration : 6-12 months with possible extension

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our research team and support scientific activities across laboratory, greenhouse, and field environments.

This position is ideal for candidates with a background in Biology, Chemistry, Plant Science, Botany, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field who enjoy hands‑on research and laboratory work.

• Assist scientists and technical staff with day‑to‑day research and laboratory activities.
• Collect, label, process, and organize plant and biological samples.
• Support laboratory testing and research activities, including DNA extraction and PCR.
• Assist with high‑throughput sample processing and laboratory workflows.
• Maintain accurate sample records, data, and laboratory documentation.
• Perform work according to established SOPs, methods, and safety procedures.
• Work in laboratory, greenhouse, and field settings as needed.

• BS degree or coursework in Chemistry, Biology, Plant Science, Botany, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Candidates currently pursuing a science degree with relevant laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.
• 1+ year of relevant laboratory, research, agricultural, plant, or scientific experience preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, sample preparation, or other basic laboratory methods is a plus.
• Candidates with plant sampling, greenhouse, field research, or agricultural research experience are welcome to apply.
