• Drive a company vehicle directly from home to job sites in response to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocates.
• Utilize the provided mapping tools and locating equipment to find underground utilities (electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines).
• Indicate utility locations through paint, flags, and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or authorities.
• Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs in accordance with the rotation schedule.

• Valid driver’s license in applicable state
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Subject to Vannguard's Drug‑Free Workplace Program; must complete pre‑employment drug screening
• Ability to self‑manage and communicate with supervisors and clients in a timely manner

• Drive 50 to 300+ miles daily as required
• Get in and out of vehicle >50 times a day
• Stand and walk >1 mile over uneven terrain in all weather
• Sit for long periods while driving
• Lift and/or move 50 to 150 pounds
• Work outdoors in all weather

• High school or equivalent (Required)

• Driver’s License (Required)

• Full‑time

• 10‑hour shift, Monday to Friday, on call
• Overtime

• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
• Utility locating: 1 year (Preferred)
