Full Stack Software Engineer – .NET / React / Azure

Location: Greater Des Moines

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday through Thursday each week. Candidate must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Johnston, IA.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join our agile development team within the SPD/FRIP area, supporting high‑level research initiatives. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining multi‑tier, high‑performance web‑based and .NET desktop applications.

• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and workflows.
• Apply problem‑solving skills and attention to detail to deliver high‑quality, scalable software solutions.
• Ensure adherence to FS&D’s software engineering standards, including architecture, UI/UX, and development practices.
• Promote and follow established coding standards and engineering methodologies throughout the SDLC.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a full‑stack developer.

• Proficiency in full‑stack development using:
  • Languages & Frameworks: C#, JavaScript, Type Script, .NET, Angular 8+, SQL, WPF
• Experience with:
  • Azure Dev Ops
  • OData
  • .NET Reflection
  • MS SQL and advanced SQL (including reading and understanding stored procedures)
  • Azure Cloud Services, including Service Bus or Event Hub for event management
