About The Role
Health Fitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in Johnston, Iowa (IA). This is an on-call/substitute position, working on an as-needed basis when regular instructors are unable to teach. There is potential to move into a regular, part-time position.
Responsibilities
- Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise sessions to members, including activities such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
Minimum Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or another NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification is required.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute are required within 30 days of hire.
- 2+ years of group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
Compensation: $20 - $25/hour
. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
