Position Highlights Provide comprehensive clinical dental services in an outpatient community health center Opportunity to supervise Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists in absence of Dental Director Perform exams, diagnose conditions, and deliver appropriate dental/oral treatments Utilize digital radiography and paperless charting preferred Provide patient education on oral health and disease prevention Participate in department committees and quality initiatives Assist with staff training, clinical policy development, and dental program planning Represent the organization at meetings and community events as needed Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in QI activities including peer review

Qualifications Graduation from an accredited dental school Completion of general practice residency preferred Unrestricted Rhode Island dental license CPR (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred Rhode Island DPA and DEA registrations Medicare and Medicaid provider numbers

Preferred Skills Knowledge of public health principles Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Ability to maintain clinical privileges Bilingual skills a plus Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
