Steel Detailer

The Berlin Steel Construction Company is a full-service specialty contractor, primarily with structural steel and miscellaneous metals. We design, fabricate, and erect structures in the Northeast and in other parts of the country. We have 2 fabrication facilities, 4 erection operations facilities, and 6 office locations that provide engineering and management of projects. We are a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP) with a desire for growth.

We service the private commercial, public, institutional, and industrial markets.

• We are looking for a Steel Detailer to work in our Johnston, RI location OR our West Chester, PA location.

• The applicant that fills this position will be responsible for creating and checking erection and fabrication shop drawings for structural and/or miscellaneous metal.

• Applicants with a current working knowledge/understanding of the latest version of the AISC regulations/requirements related to connection design, detailing practices, steel member dimensions & properties are preferred. Applicants with Tekla, SDS2, and/or AutoCAD experience a plus.
