Client is seeking an Encompass Senior Business Analyst for its Mortgage practice group. The analyst will act as a key contributor throughout project phases—discovery, solution generation, design/architecture, and detailed process documentation—to help enterprises achieve greater connectivity, faster user acceptance, and shorter turnaround times. The role involves recommending, configuring, evaluating, and deploying high‑quality Encompass 360/Smart Client solutions that meet the evolving needs of global mortgage environments.
Responsibilities- Configure and implement changes and enhancements to the Encompass 360/Smart Client platform to meet business needs.
- Discover and define problem statements, evaluate solution options, and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with technical and cross‑functional teams to assess feasibility of changes.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and product prioritization meetings.
- Coordinate/work with offshore teams on a daily basis.
- Conduct test planning and support testing, facilitating resolution of identified bugs.
- Mentor less‑experienced Business Analysts.
- Lead design of technical solutions to meet business requirements across Mortgage origination processes and interface design.
- Consult with and advocate to multiple business units outside of project efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of one year of education.
- At least 8 years of IT experience in the U.S. Mortgage space with Encompass knowledge.
- Encompass Smart Client product experience is mandatory.
- Hands‑on experience configuring the Encompass Smart Client and familiarity with the full ICE Mortgage Technology product suite.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Scrum Master skills are an add‑on.
- Strong analytical, communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
- U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. is required; sponsorship not available.
- Willingness to relocate or commute to Raleigh, Dallas, or Los Angeles.
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business goals.
- Define and prioritize product features based on market trends, user feedback, and business requirements.
- Work with design and development teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Manage and maintain the product backlog, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct requirements elicitation, analysis, configuration, and documentation.
- Manage ongoing communication and clarification of functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Create Solution Requirements Packages including use cases/user stories, functional and non‑functional requirements, interface mock‑ups, process models, workflow storyboards, and traceability deliverables.
- Evaluate solution proposals for technical merit and feasibility to meet business needs within cost and risk parameters.
The role requires extended periods of sitting and working at a computer. Communication may be by telephone, email, or face‑to‑face. Travel may be required as per job requirements.
