Health Care Support Worker

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Part-time Health Care Support Worker to join our medical practice based at Ravenswood Surgery in Johnstone, Renfrewshire.

This vacancy is for approximately 20 hours per week over 4 mornings (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience. The HCSW will provide timely and safe venepuncture, blood pressures, heights, weights, BMI and urinalysis to support diagnostic and long term condition management. They will also be responsible for stock control in clinical rooms.

Our Practice team consists of 3 GP Partners, 3 long-term GP Locums, 2 Practice Nurses and an excellent admin team. We have Pharmacy Hub support 5 days a week, Phlebotomy cover, access to local treatment room and support from an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist, Community Link Worker and Community Wellbeing Nurse. We are a Vision/Docman Practice and our current list size is approximately 6500 patients.

We are based in renovated modern premises with on-site parking and local amenities nearby – Starbucks and Morrison’s, with Johnstone town centre only a few minutes’ walk away. We are just off the A737 and a short commute from Glasgow – 20 minutes from the West End.
