What you will do

* Support residents with personal care and daily living activities

* Assist with meals and encourage healthy nutrition and hydration

* Promote independence and encourage choice wherever possible

* Support residents to take part in activities and hobbies they enjoy

* Build trusted relationships with residents and their families

* Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support

* Maintain accurate records and uphold high standards of care

About you

You will be compassionate, patient and committed to supporting older people to live well. You'll enjoy working as part of a team and understand the importance of person-centred care. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We're equally interested in people who share our values and want to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
