Job Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects. This position requires a seasoned project manager who can manage technical teams, maintain client relationships, and ensure high‑quality project execution from concept through construction. The Senior Project Manager will oversee activities such as water modeling, rate studies, report and specification preparation, permitting, and construction administration.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong communication skills, a hands‑on management style, and the flexibility to work on multiple, diverse projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Manage and coordinate all phases of water and wastewater projects, including planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
- Oversee preparation of engineering reports, design drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.
- Lead and participate in water system modeling, rate studies, and infrastructure planning efforts.
- Conduct and attend design review meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure project scope, schedule, and budgets are effectively managed and maintained.
- Support permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Provide construction administration support, including review of submittals, RFIs, and site visits.
- Collaborate with project engineers, designers, and other technical staff.
- Assist the Principal with strategic initiatives and other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm to work on multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management, preferably with a focus on water and wastewater system design and infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of water infrastructure systems, construction methods, and industry standards. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering software is preferred. Experience with water modeling, report and specification preparation, and construction administration is a plus.
- Project Management & Leadership: Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams, oversee project schedules and budgets, and maintain strong client relationships. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks across diverse projects.
- Communication & Technical Writing: Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing detailed reports, specifications, and client presentations. Ability to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and ensure the quality of construction work.
- Problem‑Solving Ability: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve field‑related issues efficiently and effectively.

- Salary: $90,000 – $125,000 per year, paid monthly via check
