** About the Role
** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute and chronic psychiatric conditions. You’ll work as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on safety, stabilization, and therapeutic support in a secure inpatient environment.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines
* Monitor patient health status, administer medications, and assist with treatment plans
* Support patients through crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and therapeutic communication
* Document care consistently and accurately in the electronic health record
* Collaborate with RNs, providers, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
* Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to individualized care planning
* Promote a safe, respectful, and recovery-oriented environment for all patients
** Qualifications
* ** Current Colorado Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
* Previous experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, or acute-care settings preferred
* Strong communication, critical thinking, and crisis-management skills
* Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
* CPR/BLS certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
