At Northern Colorado Long Term Acute Hospital, we are passionate about patient care! We provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries and have earned The Joint Commission’s Respiratory Failure Certification. Our patients often require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning.

At our 20‑bed hospital, we are a free‑standing, long‑term acute care hospital serving patients in Colorado, Wyoming and Western Nebraska.

• A passion for providing patient care, strong clinical skills, and a strong collaborator with Physicians and Therapists.
• Degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current State Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR.

• Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One (1) year recent experience preferred. Acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.

• Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
