Technician - Level 3

Overview

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician. This role performs preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Some locations may have large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment. • Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on equipment
• Carry out complex repairs on equipment to minimize downtime
• Work with a team in a safety-focused environment
• Build skills by working on a variety of makes, models and equipment
• Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty line equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred

• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Ability to provide tools of the trade if needed
• Flexibility with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. • Base pay range: $23.58 - $32.41 per hour; starting rate may vary by factors including location, education, training, and experience
