Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Description:
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified (or Eligible) Interventional Cardiologist for a short-term locum assignment covering both general cardiology rounding and STEMI call during the Thanksgiving holiday period. This is an excellent opportunity to step in and support a leading trauma-level facility offering emergency privileges for qualified candidates.

Assignment Overview:

• General Cardiology Rounding: November , 2025 (8a 4p)

• STEMI/Interventional Coverage: November 27 December 1, 2025 (24-hour day/night coverage)

• Preferred: One physician who can cover both general and interventional weeks

• Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (hospital-based rounding plus STEMI coverage)

• Call Type: Beeper call, 25-minute response

• Trauma Level: I

• Support Staff: 4 RNs, 3 MAs, 4 APPs

• EMR: Epic

Required Skills:

• Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology

• Echocardiography, TEE

• STEMI management

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional or General Cardiology

• Active PA License or IMLC Qualification

• Emergency Hospital privileges available

Additional Details:

• Credentialing Timeframe: 10 days

• Travel: Flights into Pittsburgh or Latrobe, lodging arranged by facility

• Insurance: Provided by IPL Health

• Holiday Coverage: Premium rates offered for Thanksgiving weekend
