Description:
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified (or Eligible) Interventional Cardiologist for a short-term locum assignment covering both general cardiology rounding and STEMI call during the Thanksgiving holiday period. This is an excellent opportunity to step in and support a leading trauma-level facility offering emergency privileges for qualified candidates.
Assignment Overview:
General Cardiology Rounding: November , 2025 (8a 4p)
STEMI/Interventional Coverage: November 27 December 1, 2025 (24-hour day/night coverage)
Preferred: One physician who can cover both general and interventional weeks
Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (hospital-based rounding plus STEMI coverage)
Call Type: Beeper call, 25-minute response
Trauma Level: I
Support Staff: 4 RNs, 3 MAs, 4 APPs
EMR: Epic
Required Skills:
Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology
Echocardiography, TEE
STEMI management
Requirements:
Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional or General Cardiology
Active PA License or IMLC Qualification
Emergency Hospital privileges available
Additional Details:
Credentialing Timeframe: 10 days
Travel: Flights into Pittsburgh or Latrobe, lodging arranged by facility
Insurance: Provided by IPL Health
Holiday Coverage: Premium rates offered for Thanksgiving weekend
