Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Cath Lab Job Type: Full-time| 4 10hr shifts, on call, weekends and holidays
Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus
Department/Unit Summary Cardiac catheterization /EP lab is a very busy place. We provide cardiac catheterization with stents and shockwave, CSI, Rota bladder, Laser, Impalla and balloon pump procedures, TEE, ablations and Cardioversions. We have same day discharge procedures that the patients will recover for 4 hours and if they meet discharge criteria, may go home. Our schedule is published one month at a time.
Staff for the cardiac catheterization lab work 4 - (10-hour) shifts, on call time daily, for weekends or holidays also. On call is 2-3 days per week and every 3rd weekend, this may vary depending on vacations, etc. Conemaugh Hospital has chest pain accreditation status; therefore, we have STEMI call 24/7, 7 days per week. Staff for EP work 5 -(8-hour) shifts, no on call time, no weekends, or holidays.

Professional development and growth opportunities Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: ·
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire ·
Critical Care Course or completed within 6 months ·
CPR certification and ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months ·
One year nursing experience ·
Arrhythmia course and critical care course or obtained within one year ·
One year nursing experience in cath lab preferred ·
