American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring a compact or PA RN license and ACLS/PALS certification.

• Work in a 40-bed Emergency Department within a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Treats all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Uses EPIC EHR system

• Active RN license (Compact or PA) currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS and PALS required, CEN preferred
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience required
• Trauma or critical care experience preferred
• Basic nursing skills required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Copies of required certifications must be provided

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• Work alongside a supervisor-led team in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Any scrub color is acceptable
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays, with a local rate applicable for candidates within 60 miles
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered a travel candidate
• No holiday RTO permitted during this assignment
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
• Pennsylvania-specific background clearances (Child Abuse History, DHS Fingerprinting, FBI/Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and PATCH State Police Clearance) required prior to start
