American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry/PCU RN for a Level 1 trauma hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and cardiac cath experience.

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment with every other weekend required
• Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit specializing in Cardiac care
• RN to patient ratio of 1:5, NA ratios of 10-12 days and 20-22 nights
• Cardiac geriatric patient population
• Common diagnoses include CP, MI, Open Heart, Watchman, TAVR, post-op cardiac cath, and post-op pacer
• Uses pacer and arterial lines (Alines) equipment
• EPIC EMR system used
• No call requirements
• Not normally floated, though may float to 1:1 assignments depending on need

• Active RN license (PA or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience preferred
• Cardiac cath experience required
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
• PA fingerprint clearances required, including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Department of Human Services Fingerprinting, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and PATCH PA State Police Clearance

• Located at a Level 1 Trauma Center and tertiary care regional referral hospital
• Deliver cardiac telemetry and progressive care nursing to a geriatric patient population
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start
• Scrub color is unrestricted, though hoodies are not permitted and only nose stud piercings are allowed
• Holiday RTO will not be accommodated
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
