Staff Accountant

Base Pay Range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Berkot's Super Foods is seeking a Staff Accountant to be added to our accounting team. This candidate will support the financial operations of Berkot's by performing general accounting duties, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing regular reports. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards while supporting store-level and corporate financial activities. • Prepare general ledger/journal entries.
• Manage Accounts Receivable/ Collections; oversee house charge accounts.
• Reconcile POS to daily account posting.
• Prepare supporting Schedules.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and research variances.
• Assist with quarterly/year end closes and preparation of financial statements.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual budgets.
• Prepare inventory accounting, reconciliation, and adjustments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• 1+ years of general accounting experience is highly preferred.
• General Business knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, diligence, and time-management skills.
