Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Plainfield
Join Enterprise Mobility as a part-time Automotive Detailer.
Location:
16040 S Lincoln Hwy, Plainfield, IL 60586. Pay: $16.50 per hour based on a 25-hour workweek.

Schedule
:
- Monday: 1:00 pm–6:00 pm
- Tuesday: 1:00 pm–6:00 pm
- Thursday: 1:00 pm–6:00 pm
- Friday: 1:00 pm–6:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am–12:30 pm
Responsibilities include:
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicle’s exterior; work with cars, vans, trucks.
- Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset/restore vehicle settings; check for customer items; verify registration.
- Check fluid levels; add as needed; check tire condition, pressure, tread depth; inspect exterior for damage.
- Fuel and stage vehicle.
- Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights and/or damage; pull vehicle out of processing as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
- Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches.
- Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations.
- Site appearance responsibilities include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location.
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting.
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than one moving violation and/or at-fault accident on the driving record in the past three years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must have 12 consecutive months of work/organizational experience.
