Child Care Teacher

Easterseals Joliet Region seeks a creative, fun, energetic, and patient child care teacher who can bring their passion for working with children. This could be a full or part-time position.

• Employ various educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children.
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.).
• Track children’s progress and report to parents.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

• Must meet DCFS licensing standards for preschool teachers (example: 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university related to child care and/or child development).
• At least one year of experience working with children ages birth to five.
