Oral Surgery Assistant Chicago Dental Implant Oral & Facial Surgery CDI Oral & Facial Surgery Location Joliet IL Position Type Full Time Pay Range 22 30 per hour Join a Team That Changes Lives Every Day CDI Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking a compassionate motivated and detail oriented Oral Surgery Assistant to join our growing team We specialize in dental implants wisdom teeth removal bone grafting and a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures in a modern technology driven environment If you thrive in a fast paced setting enjoy working alongside highly skilled surgeons and are passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience wed love to meet you

Schedule Monday Thursday 800 AM 500 PMFriday 800 AM 300 PM Occasional Saturday 800 AM 100 PM

Assist the oral surgeon during procedures including

Dental implant placement

Surgical extractions

Wisdom teeth removal

Bone grafting procedures

Prepare treatment rooms instruments and surgical equipment

Review and update patient medical histories and records

Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans

Monitor and support patients before during and after treatment

Provide post operative instructions and patient education

Maintain OSHA infection control and sterilization standards

Sterilize instruments and restock operatories

Support efficient daily clinical operations and outstanding patient care Travel between all four practice locations

Joliet Plainfield Orland  Park Downers Grove

Previous dental assisting experience required

Oral surgery experience preferred but willing to train an exceptional candidate

Current Dental Assistant certification where applicable

Current CPRBLS certification

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work calmly and professionally with surgical patients

Experience monitoring IV sedation is a plus Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations
