As an Infection Preventionist Nurse, you are at the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by providing education to staff and assisting with the development, implementation, and enforcement of infection control policies and procedures, identifying, controlling, and preventing outbreaks of infection in the facility, collecting and analyzing infection control data, and acting as an infection control resource for employees, residents, and their families.

• Develop, implement, and enforce infection control policies and procedures.
• Educate staff on infection prevention practices.
• Identify, control, and prevent infection outbreaks.
• Collect and analyze infection control data.
• Serve as infection control resource for employees, residents, family members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing, or related field.
• Unencumbered State of Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
• Five (5) years RN experience, preferably one (1) year in an infection control position.
