The Radiology Transporter transports patients to and from the Radiology Department. Other duties include but are not limited to:

• Darkroom duties
• Ordering supplies
• Stocking
• Dressing patients
• Front office duties
• Clerical duties: answering telephones, greeting patients, preparing requisitions for outpatients, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records
• Provide clerical support using telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS, and running errands throughout the facility

The Radiology Transport/Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology and exhibit good telephone etiquette, greeting patients and visitors politely and friendly.

• Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain it throughout employment.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• Starting April 2014, all new hires must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Competitive compensation: $15.00 to $21.72 per hour, with benefits included in the Total Rewards package. Exact compensation will be determined at the time of hiring based on skillset, experience, education, credentials and licensure.
