Illinois Nursing Academy is a strong member in the community by helping members in our community jump start their career in the nursing field. Our school has partnered with many nursing facilities in the Chicagoland and Rockford area that are willing to hire and pay for students to attend our class while guaranteeing employment with that nursing facility, during and after this course.

Duties that you will learn through our program and at the nursing facility are :

• Turning & moving patients.
• Proper usage of medical supplies.
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, feeding, etc.)
• Checking vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, heart rate, etc.)
• Assist with other needs of patients

• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
• Must enjoy working with seniors.
• Must have an excellent work ethic.
• Must be able to work in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Must have a solid work history.
• Passing a background check

Most of the facilities that are partnered with Illinois Nursing Academy offer a competitive hourly rate, a great working environment, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

§ All selected applicants will be required to attend an in-person course once a week at the school in Midlothian, IL as well as clinical hours at a specific site.

§ Staff that are selected by a facility will be required to work at the facility throughout the CNA course and after to receive full payment of one’s course.
