Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift

A Department Manager, Maintenance provides maintenance support to the DC Operation on their specified shift and leads a team of hourly technicians, planning, directing, and coordinating maintenance activities. The role embraces Dollar Tree’s commitment to customers, customer service, and sales.

Shift and Salary
: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Salary range: $85,000 – $90,000

• Equipment maintenance
• Rapiscan/Dematic conveyor systems
• Material handling equipment
• High‑tech sortation / automated laser scanners
• HVAC
• Welding equipment
• Building and ground maintenance
• Repair equipment problems
• Assist in safety compliance and programs
• Staff selection, training, motivation, and development
• Other duties as assigned

• Continuous walking through the Distribution Center for extended periods
• Lift or move up to 60 lb.
• Work flexible hours and shifts when needed

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred
• Experience:
  
  3–5 years of related experience or training plus 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience

• Electrical/electronic background and experience with conveyors, welding, air compressors, scanners, electronic controls, or industrial building maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Preferred: experience with MP2 program and PLC
• Desired: familiarity with radio frequency and pick‑to‑light systems
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; strong planning and organization skills

• MS Office Suite proficiency
