Schedule/Shift: B Shift, Wednesday - Saturday / 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM ($21/hr)

Job Purpose: The Inventory Control Lead supervises and coordinates activities related to inventory management in stockrooms, warehouses, or yards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain layout and organization of storage areas considering turnover, size, and weight.
  • Review records and recommend actions for non-usable, slow-moving, or excess stock.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of inventory records.
  • Schedule and oversee periodic inventories.
  • Prepare reports from inventory data.
  • Investigate discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
  • Provide instructions and coordinate workflow with team members.
  • Assign duties and review work for quality and policy compliance.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret safety and operational documents.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Count physical inventory accurately.
  • Use computer systems to manage inventory data.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years in Inventory Control and 1-2 years in warehouse environment.
  • Experience operating forklifts and high lifts.
  • Knowledge of WMS software (Synapse preferred).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical and business information effectively.
