Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Inspect assigned equipment daily and operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods, OSHA standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
  • Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances and keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and security.
  • Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation. Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
  • Coordinate with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance.
  • Perform good housekeeping practices and clean as you go.
  • Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety, report unsafe conditions that can’t be self‑corrected to the leadership team, and observe all company safety rules to assist in enforcement as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

M-F 10:00PM to 6:30AM. Overtime may be required.

Pay: $21.50/hr

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to successfully complete post‑hire assessments.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
