Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, loads/unloads trucks, ensures proper transaction completion, and maintains system accuracy. Prepares items for the shop on shipment.

• Compares identifying information and counts, affixes shipping labels, weighs or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, order, or other records.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Completes physical inventory counting and cycle counting when directed.
• Stages equipment for shop per job order, sales order, or verbal instructions.
• Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse machinery and pass certification testing.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, along with standard math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
