Travel Nurse - Surgical ICU Stepdown at Medfamily Wellcare Center (Joliet, IL)
Compensation: $10,475/month.
Responsibilities- Providing specialized care to surgical ICU patients transitioning to stepdown level, monitoring vital signs, and managing complex medical conditions.
- Administering medications and treatments per physician orders while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assessing patient progress, documenting care, and communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Responding promptly to emergencies and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Knowledge of ICU and stepdown protocols and procedures.
