Overview
  • Part‑time (Variable Hours; 24 Hours+; Mon‑Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm; rotating Saturdays starting soon, 8:00 am–12:00 pm)

    Hybrid after at least 6 months of training

Responsibilities
  • Triage Phone Response:
    Manage patient health concerns via telephone using physician‑approved protocols; assess, educate, and provide crisis intervention as needed; schedule appointments, tests; obtain insurance pre‑authorization; review and authorize/deny prescriptions; deliver patient education; provide reassurance.
  • Patient Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records; post tests; document patient education; enter all communications into the Medical Record.
  • Clinical Resource for Staff:
    Delegate tasks; assist staff; be aware of coding, reimbursement; orient/train new staff; improve nursing and leadership skills.
  • Other Duties as Assigned:
    Provide patient care using current nursing practices; act as advocate; additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure.
  • Knowledge of nursing standards per the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA.
  • Prefer at least one year of clinical or hospital experience; new graduates may be considered under specific circumstances.
Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $27.00–$38.90 per hour; actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
