Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Barista for a full‑time, on‑site role at our Joliet, IL location. As a Barista, you will craft high‑quality beverages and prepare food to Starbucks standards, deliver exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and welcoming store environment, and contribute to creating a warm, inclusive atmosphere for customers and colleagues. You will also assist in restocking inventory and adhere to operational policies to ensure an efficient and seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent customer service and build connections with customers and teammates.
• Ability to follow recipes and preparation standards to craft high‑quality beverages and food items.
• Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and maintain composure during busy periods.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• A passion for coffee and a dedication to learning about Starbucks products and values.
• Previous customer service or food and beverage experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
