Product Demonstrator Part Time - 8298 at Product Connections
Overview
The Associate is responsible for conducting in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, and engaging consumers professionally to demonstrate products.
Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour ($15.00 – $15.00 salary range)
Responsibilities
- Acquire full knowledge of represented products.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact with, and sell products to consumers.
- Communicate product features and benefits effectively.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances (microwave, fryer, skillet, coffee maker, knives).
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Set up and prepare event tables for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience. One–three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Proficient with personal computer or mobile device, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF.
- Local food handlers permit may be required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds) and push/pull a fully laden demonstration cart.
- Stand, walk, and perform tasks up to 65 inches overhead for the duration of the shift.
- English speaking; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
- Physical ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and balance as described in physical demands.
Physical Demands
Stand and walk for the shift; use hands and fingers for task handling; reach overhead up to 65 inches; lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs); push or pull a wheeled cart; prepare food and beverages with required appliances; occasional contact with cleaning supplies.
Work Environment
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Appearance
Maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming. Follow retailer dress code requirements provided in training documents.
