Bioprocessing Sales Specialist focused on promoting and expanding the market adoption of OPUS pre-packed chromatography columns across Midwest and Southeast US regions.
Responsibilities- drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and account expansion
- serve as technical and commercial expert supporting customers from process development to commercialization
- build and maintain a strong sales pipeline via prospecting and strategic planning
- develop relationships with key stakeholders in biopharmaceutical manufacturing
- conduct technical presentations, product demos, and customer visits
- utilize CRM tools for forecasting and opportunity management
- gather market and competitive intelligence
- represent the company at industry events.
- Bachelor's in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years in bioprocessing sales, technical sales, or downstream manufacturing
- deep understanding of chromatography and downstream purification processes
- proven success in sales growth and territory development
- familiarity with Salesforce, prospecting tools, and technical presentation skills
- willingness to travel up to 65%.
- experience selling chromatography resins, pre-packed columns, filtration products
- knowledge of affinity, ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction, and mixed-mode chromatography.
- downstream bioprocessing, chromatography technologies, biologics manufacturing, technical sales, account management, US domestic travel.
