Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Joliet, IL. Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Primarily driving position, your presence on patrol helps create a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. • Fri 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Sat 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

• Provide excellent customer service by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, customers, and employees with questions or directions as part of daily patrol duties.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points during patrols.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Work collaboratively with store staff and management to maintain a secure environment for employees and patrons.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
